About Friends of The Senior Resource Center
HISTORY
The Friends of The SRC was launched in October of 2025 following the merger of the Senior Resource Center for Douglas County as a department of Douglas County. The Friends immediately committed to ensuring investment in the quality and future growth of programs and services for older adults in Douglas County. The Board of County Commissioner’s general fund supports operating expenses, such as salaries, insurance, and office supplies. This allows donations to the Friends of The SRC to provide stability and growth for the direct programs, activities, and services offered by SRC.
